Job Requirements

  • Prior food service and baking experience required
  • open availability for full-time or part-time schedules
  • ability to work varied hours and days
  • must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • must adhere to corporate and OSHA safety standards
  • successful completion of any required background screening
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work area

Job Qualifications

  • ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
  • experience with maintaining sanitation and safety standards

  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work under pressure during peak production times
  • teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
  • assists in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensures proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment
  • assists with completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
  • informs supervisor when supplies are low
  • ensures proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
  • handles food items appropriately with all safety regulations in mind
  • cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, customer-service oriented manner
  • consistently keeps up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
  • checks to ensure all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
  • follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment according to corporate and OSHA standards
  • completes shift work timely and thoroughly according to department standards
  • performs other duties as assigned
