Job Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods
ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
flexible availability including weekends, holidays, early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
familiarity with safety practices related to bakery equipment
effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior bakery experience is a plus but not required
strong customer service skills
ability to follow recipes and production standards
knowledge of health and safety standards
teamwork and communication skills
ability to handle physical demands of the job

Job Duties

Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
adhere to all health department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production levels
maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily
work closely with all bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
regular, timely attendance and adequate notice for absences
perform other duties as assigned
