Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain bakery equipment
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stretch, and kneel as required
  • ability to perform repetitive arm and hand motions
  • able to work near hot equipment using protective gloves
  • ability to stand for scheduled shifts
  • punctuality and adherence to uniform standards
  • must be entrepreneurial and able to work independently
  • must follow all company policies and procedures
  • maintain a friendly and positive attitude at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking experience preferred
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to multitask and manage various stages of the baking process
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • basic math skills for measuring ingredients

Job Duties

  • Bake batches according to daily bake order sheets
  • produce consistently high-quality bakery products
  • be extremely accurate with recipe weights and measures
  • maintain a clean workstation at all times
  • properly clean all pans and baking trays during the shift with a minimum of 30 trays per day
  • assist managers in managing current and needed bread levels and baking sequence
  • strictly comply with all bakery safety and sanitation requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
  • complete all baking tasks timely
