Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must have multitasking skills to coordinate several tasks during baking
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and kneel as needed
  • Ability to work around hot equipment and handle hot pans safely
  • Must adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards
  • Must report to work on time for all scheduled shifts
  • Must meet all uniform and grooming standards
  • Must become familiar with and follow all company policies and procedures
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and smile at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous baking or food production experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed recipes
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in food production
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy items up to 50 pounds
  • Good communication skills and team orientation

Job Duties

  • Bake batches according to daily PAR and bake order sheets
  • Consistently produce high-quality bakery products
  • Be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
  • Keep workstation clean at all times
  • Properly clean all dishes and pans throughout the shift
  • Assist managers in determining bread levels and bake sequence
  • Adhere strictly to safety and health code requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
  • Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
