Job Requirements
- great attitude, team mentality
- love of food and hospitality
- 1+ years in the restaurant industry preferred but not required
- 5am start time availability
- weekend and holiday availability
- knowledge of baking techniques, basic sourdough knowledge is a plus
- ability to read and follow a recipe
- basic culinary math skills, with knowledge of bakers' math
- lifting 50+ lbs, standing, navigating stairs, working in a kitchen with gluten and other allergens
- bake multiple types of sourdough and yeasted breads daily
- daily pastry production
- learning and maintaining bread recipes, techniques, and standards
- reading and adhering to cleaning and safety protocols
- being a team player, helping other departments with prep work, cleaning, etc.
- attending meetings, trainings, and focusing on continuing education
- analyzing mistakes, finished products, and daily tasks to maintain and improve quality of each bake
- work with team to create specials and specialty items
- work holidays, weekends and maintain a flexible schedule
