Job Requirements

  • great attitude, team mentality
  • love of food and hospitality
  • 1+ years in the restaurant industry preferred but not required
  • 5am start time availability
  • weekend and holiday availability
  • knowledge of baking techniques, basic sourdough knowledge is a plus
  • ability to read and follow a recipe
  • basic culinary math skills, with knowledge of bakers' math
  • lifting 50+ lbs, standing, navigating stairs, working in a kitchen with gluten and other allergens
  • bake multiple types of sourdough and yeasted breads daily
  • daily pastry production
  • learning and maintaining bread recipes, techniques, and standards
  • reading and adhering to cleaning and safety protocols
  • being a team player, helping other departments with prep work, cleaning, etc.
  • attending meetings, trainings, and focusing on continuing education
  • analyzing mistakes, finished products, and daily tasks to maintain and improve quality of each bake
  • work with team to create specials and specialty items
  • work holidays, weekends and maintain a flexible schedule
