Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
  • ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and evening or overnight shifts
  • experience in baking or food production preferred
  • adherence to health and safety regulations
  • excellent communication and guest service skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
  • monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
  • adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
  • monitor stock levels and service floor needs to ensure proper assortment and production
  • maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by designated times
  • collaborate closely with bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
  • maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for absences
  • perform other duties as assigned
