Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Six months to one year of baking-related experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to operate bakery equipment
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over six months to one year of related baking experience
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Basic arithmetic skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to copy data and follow instructions
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Assist customers with locating products and handling items
- Answer telephone calls promptly and take product orders
- Check production schedules and set timelines
- Prepare, bake, and fry bakery products as needed
- Monitor product freshness and remove stale items
- Invoice and put away products as directed
- Anticipate product needs for current and future days
- Inspect incoming product quality and quantity
- Operate bakery equipment and report maintenance issues
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- Adhere to company policies and personal hygiene standards
