Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Six months to one year of baking-related experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Over six months to one year of related baking experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Basic arithmetic skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Ability to copy data and follow instructions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
  • Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
  • Assist customers with locating products and handling items
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and take product orders
  • Check production schedules and set timelines
  • Prepare, bake, and fry bakery products as needed
  • Monitor product freshness and remove stale items
  • Invoice and put away products as directed
  • Anticipate product needs for current and future days
  • Inspect incoming product quality and quantity
  • Operate bakery equipment and report maintenance issues
  • Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
  • Adhere to company policies and personal hygiene standards
