Job Requirements
- Accountable, pleasant and able to take initiative
- Possess knowledge and 1-2 years of experience in making bakery products including dough mixing, cake cutting and decorating
- Possess knowledge in workplace health and safety and food safety with required FoodSafe Certification
- Have knowledge and experience in supervising bakery production workflow and controlling cost and wastage
- Ability to manage and train employees
- Able to communicate in English, proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
- Flexible to work in various shifts including weekdays, weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours
- Have a good understanding of tools and equipment relevant to the job

Job Duties
- Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
- Plan and prepare ingredients and dough for bread, cakes, rolls, mousse, puddings, sweet goods, batters, and icings and frostings according to standard operating procedures or special customer orders
- Control product quality, inventory level and wastage according to established standards
- Oversee the mixing of flour, dough, cake mix and other baking ingredients
- Supervise the baking production processes
- Provide guidance and supervision to the Bakery Production team, ensure fair distribution of work and proper scheduling
- Provide training to Bakery Production Associates and provide feedback on staff performance
- Participate in new product research and development process, encourage innovations
- Order and replenish inventory as required
- Responsible for cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance follow up and workplace safety of the production area
