Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in confectionery or bakery production preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitization procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to lift moderate weights and handle kitchen equipment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
  • Team-oriented mindset with commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization and quality program
  • Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology and food sanitary safety practice and procedure
  • Food safety, food labeling and nutrition related knowledge including FDA regulations
  • Confectionery or foods major recommended
  • Food handler's certificate preferred
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Multiple priority management abilities
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to manage diverse teams empathetically
  • Team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment
  • Commitment to Paris Baguette's mission, vision, brand values and culture

Job Duties

  • Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing all desserts, pastries and cakes
  • General knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionary production
  • Learn new products and skills and ability to demonstrate proper techniques to new cakers
  • Sanitize and maintain overall cleanliness of work station
  • Manage time and skills with strong organization
  • Knowledge of all recipes and procedures of production
  • Ensure cake display is presentable for internal and external customers
  • Make creams and sauces for cakes and pastries
  • Receive, stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
  • Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and manage food supplies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
