Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in confectionery or bakery production preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitization procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to lift moderate weights and handle kitchen equipment
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Team-oriented mindset with commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization and quality program
- Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology and food sanitary safety practice and procedure
- Food safety, food labeling and nutrition related knowledge including FDA regulations
- Confectionery or foods major recommended
- Food handler's certificate preferred
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Multiple priority management abilities
- High emotional intelligence and ability to manage diverse teams empathetically
- Team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment

Job Duties
- Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing all desserts, pastries and cakes
- General knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionary production
- Learn new products and skills and ability to demonstrate proper techniques to new cakers
- Sanitize and maintain overall cleanliness of work station
- Manage time and skills with strong organization
- Knowledge of all recipes and procedures of production
- Ensure cake display is presentable for internal and external customers
- Make creams and sauces for cakes and pastries
- Receive, stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
- Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and manage food supplies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
