Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of previous baking experience
- experience in high volume and catering baking preferred
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm
- ability to handle physical demands of baking
- compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of baking experience preferably in high-volume or catering settings
- knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and production specifications
- strong organizational and time management skills
- customer service experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and equipment
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory
- ensure proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and work area
- handle food items safely and in compliance with safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally
- maintain pace during peak production calmly and efficiently
- follow sanitation and safety standards
- complete shift tasks in a timely manner
- perform other duties as assigned
