Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a bakery or food production setting preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and safety procedures
- Capability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good team collaboration skills
- Basic math skills for measuring and inventory tracking
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a high volume of bakery products according to established Costco formulas
- Ensure baked goods meet quality and freshness standards
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the bakery area
- Organize and maintain bakery workspace and equipment cleanliness
- Monitor bakery inventory and report shortages or needs
- Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity goals
- Assist in stocking bakery goods on sales floor as needed
