Job Duties
- prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards and preparation checklists
- prepare ingredients such as portioning chopping and storing food safely before use
- use kitchen tools equipment and appliances safely and appropriately for measuring baking and cooking
- ensure compliance with food safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
- check and maintain correct temperatures of kitchen equipment and food and report issues to management
- clean and sanitize kitchen areas organize and set up workstations follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
- monitor food quality and portion control throughout the workday
- comply with company policies safety procedures and report accidents injuries and unsafe conditions
- complete all required safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean professional appearance protect confidential information communicate professionally by phone and with coworkers
- support team goals cultivate positive work relationships
- follow quality standards consistently
- move lift push pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- navigate uneven slippery or inclined surfaces
- bend stretch twist stoop and stand or sit for extended periods
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
