Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a bakery or food preparation role preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and standing
- adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous baking or bakery associate experience preferred
- knowledge of baking ingredients and recipes
- ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- basic math skills for measuring and portioning
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake bakery products according to Costco formulas
- ensure quality and consistency of baked goods
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery area
- operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
- collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- assist in training new bakery staff
