Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • less than one year of related work experience preferred
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no licenses or certifications required
  • ability to lift, move, and transport objects up to 25 pounds
  • capacity to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • capability to work on uneven or slippery surfaces
  • physical flexibility to reach above head and below knees, and to bend, twist, and stoop as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • portion, chop, and store ingredients prior to cooking
  • use kitchen tools, appliances, and ovens safely and correctly
  • comply with food safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • monitor food and appliance temperatures and report issues to management
  • clean and disinfect kitchen areas and maintain workstation organization
  • observe food quality and portion sizes during shifts
  • adhere to company safety policies and report workplace accidents or unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional appearance and protect company property and confidentiality
  • communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests
  • collaborate with team members to achieve common goals
  • perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout the workday
  • carry out other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors
