Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisor experience required
  • No license or certification required
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • Use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and properly
  • Follow food safety and hygiene policies including personal hygiene procedures
  • Monitor food and appliance temperatures and report issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas and maintain hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Maintain consistent food quality and portion sizes throughout shifts
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and follow appropriate phone protocols
  • Support teamwork and contribute to common goals
  • Perform physical duties including lifting up to 25 pounds, moving on various surfaces, and sustaining prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
