Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Previous food service experience required
- Current food safety training certificate required and must be renewed every three years
- Ability to read and speak English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in both English and Spanish preferred
- Must be able to work scheduled hours including holidays and weekends
- Basic mathematical skills required
- Must be able to handle physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and bending
- Must comply with health, safety, and sanitation codes
- Must maintain punctuality and good attendance
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Light the gas ovens and check for gas leaks
- Bake bread, pastries, and other bakery items
- Prepare flan, custards, rice pudding, and other bakery items
- Place baked goods into bags and stock displays
- Maintain awareness of floor conditions and ensure safety
- Restock food displays from kitchen, cooler and storage
- Maintain sanitary work area and adhere to health and safety codes
- Clean and store utensils and equipment properly
- Use kitchen equipment according to guidelines and report malfunctions
- Report accidents promptly as per company policy
- Assist head cook as needed
- Handle hot trays safely
- Maintain cleanliness using gloves when required
- Prepare dough overnight for next day baking
- Attend department and store meetings
- Ensure punctuality and good attendance
- Perform other duties to meet position objectives
- Assist food servers by responding to food product requests
- Sweep and mop floors as needed
