- good cooking skills with restaurant or institutional background
- ability to read and write

- complete Food Services Sanitation class or inservice

- five years of progressive food service experience or culinary arts degree from a recognized culinary school with three years of experience
Job Duties
- produce various baked goods such as cookies, pastries, biscotti, and bars
- prepare high-end desserts for catered events
- follow safe cooking techniques and execute recipes with precision
- ensure rigorous quality control for food appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation
- comply with menu and dietary requirements including modifying for food allergies
- maintain proper labeling and storage of food products and equipment
- perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness
