Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of six months professional baking experience
  • food handler's card or willingness to obtain within two weeks of hire
  • ability to follow food safety laws and regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • basic math proficiency
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • physical ability to meet medium strength demands including standing walking and handling materials

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of six months previous professional baking experience in a full service establishment
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • basic math skills
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • proficiency in correct heating cooling reheating and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Mix bake or prepare ingredients to produce baked goods and dessert items
  • check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake
  • organize and rotate stock in pantry
  • present new menu ideas and suggestions
  • ensure compliance with all company county state and federal food service laws and requirements
  • attend all department team meetings workshops and training sessions as delegated by supervisor
  • perform other projects and duties as assigned
