Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic math and reading skills
- Willingness to follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Reliable and punctual work attendance
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous baking or food preparation experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop in the baking field
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Prepare breads, cookies, pastries, and desserts using ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers
- Decorate cakes and baked goods with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery display cases and shelves
- Interact with customers to provide friendly and informative service
- Ensure baked products meet quality, freshness, and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the bakery area
