Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of food producing process, sanitization, quality program
  • Knowledge of food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge including FDA
  • Confectionery or foods major recommended
  • Food handler's certificate preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Multiple priority management abilities
  • High emotional intelligence

Job Duties

  • Responsible for frying donuts, placing toppings, and decorating pastries and bread
  • Carrying out operations and productions that take place in the kitchen
  • Baking recipes and preparing all desserts
  • General oven duties such as checking dough conditioner
  • Preparing all needed materials and ingredients
  • Scaling and shaping all breads, loaves, and pastries
  • Maintaining sanitization procedures and overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen
  • Having general knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production
  • Prioritizing and finishing all tasks assigned for daily baking
  • Ensuring workplace safety and hygiene for employees and guests
  • Receiving, stocking, and storing food in designated containers and storage areas
  • Informing supervisors when equipment is not working properly and managing food supplies
  • Completing various reports for production, usage, and waste
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
