Job Duties
- Greet all customers and provide prompt and courteous service or assistance
- commit to the Golden Rule and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- achieve the highest associate morale by working respectfully, supportively, and as part of a team
- assist in receiving and unloading merchandise, verifying delivery against vendor invoices
- rotate bakery ingredients and merchandise according to company policy and product code dates
- assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control
- handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy
- take stock to storage or shelf areas
- prepare baking mixtures according to established procedures and recipes
- pan frozen products and pan and roll up bread
- load and unload ovens, knowing proper temperatures and baking durations
- operate mixer and prepare products to meet customer specifications
- adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation procedures
- keep display cases, cooler and freezer organized and clean
- practice proper safety practices when moving products or using equipment
