Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous baking or food service experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds
- availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings or overnight
- strong communication and customer service skills
- adherence to health and safety regulations

- Customer focus with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and personnel
- effective problem-solving skills to quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic environment
- comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies including training on equipment
- knowledge of retail food business and perishable department operations
- ability to work in a team environment and support department goals
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
- monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
- adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
- maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
- provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
- keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production-level especially for early mornings and evenings
- maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily
- work closely with all Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
- maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for absences
- perform other duties as assigned
