Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years baking or pastry experience
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Familiarity with bakery equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Plan production for the Baking department in absence of pastry chef
- Demonstrate and use proper time management skills
- Train staff in approved production methods
- Produce centerpieces using various mediums
- Train and maintain proper usage and cleaning of pastry equipment
- Requisition supplies and ensure proper storage
- Maintain production records
- Participate in production of baking items
- Maintain pastry shop cleanliness and organization
- Store unused ingredients properly
- Write and follow schedules
- Produce special occasion cakes
- Keep a personal log of approved formulas
