Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to wake up early and start working by 4 a.m.
- Physical ability to stand, walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and equipment handling
- Ability to read and comprehend basic English instructions
- Prior baking experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, humid environment
- Commitment to adhere to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills for measuring and timing production
- Ability to follow detailed baking procedures and recipes
- Prior baking experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Basic English reading and writing skills preferred
- Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
- Ability to handle physical demands of baking including standing and lifting
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
Job Duties
- Manage bagel production from freezer to finished product efficiently following THB systems and standards
- Manage time and daily routine to meet needs at the opening hour and throughout the day ensuring sufficient supply
- Announce hot bagels to team and guests throughout the shift with energy and pride
- Maintain and clean bakery equipment to ensure proper functioning at all times
- Troubleshoot any baking or equipment issues calmly and effectively
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols strictly
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment
