Job Duties

  • Follow the guaranteed Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are always fresh and accurate
  • adhere to product shelf life standards to ensure the best quality product is available to guests
  • deliver consistent and outstanding customer service by maintaining an appealing showcase with minimum quantity and variety standards
  • enhance customer service experience through friendly attitude, attentive behavior, and following the S.E.T. principles: Smile, Eye Contact, Thank You
  • help support speed of service targets by working quickly and efficiently to fill orders and meet customer needs in the restaurant and drive-thru
  • promptly execute service recovery for any customer service concerns or complaints by making it right with the guest
  • listen carefully to customer service concerns and apologize for the experience in the case of a complaint
  • follow all operations standards and guidelines for preparation of products and operation of equipment
  • monitor fridge and freezer product inventory and submit order quantities
  • prepare all products as required, minimizing food waste through the production of smaller quantities more often
  • record prepared items and waste on the production sheet
  • receive and respond to showcase and product needs from the restaurant front
  • assist in serving guests in the restaurant front when necessary
  • regularly take temperatures of required products, fridges and freezers and record information in the Time & Temperature Log
  • clean and maintain the production area in the restaurant
  • follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards
  • support a clean environment ready for rush periods through regular cleanup, organization, and stocking of the kitchen
  • follow proper hand washing techniques and all sanitation guidelines
  • complete all sanitation tasks as outlined by the restaurant management team
  • work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
  • know, understand, and follow safe work practices and procedures
  • use or wear personal protective equipment or clothing as required
  • report all injuries, illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents, and safety contraventions to the restaurant manager or owner
  • avoid operating equipment or working in ways that endanger anyone
