Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen and bakery equipment
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends
- Must pass background check
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull a minimum of 100 lbs in a cart
- Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder while carrying a minimum of 50 lbs
- Knowledge of proper pastry bag, cake decorating, piping techniques, and knife and spatula techniques
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift
- Flexibility in fingers and hands to utilize kitchen and bakery equipment, bottles, glasses, knives, etc
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Familiar with all phases and operations of the bakery
- Able to have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands

Job Duties
- Responsible for the production and decorating of all baked and finished goods for property outlets
- Follows standard, established recipes by weighing, mixing, proofing, baking and finishing baked products
- Ability to produce individual pastries, cakes, pies, plated desserts, breads, cookies, and decorate by set company standards
- Ability to mix, form and bake formulas accurately, ensuring consistent product quality and troubleshooting when necessary
- Follows order forms and forecasts ingredient needs for upcoming orders
- Prepares pans and loads/unloads ovens
- Operates bakery equipment including scales, mixers, steam kettles, stoves, sheeters, glaze machines, confectionary machines, heat lamps, deep fryers, broilers, and basic hand tools
- Oversees workstation based on par levels, occupancy, and reservations while maintaining quality standards
- Maintains and rotates stocked food items for quality assurance
- Provides relief for Sous Chefs and assists in other kitchen areas as needed
- Maintains workstation cleanliness and sanitation according to department standards
- Identifies and corrects product discrepancies and quality variations according to company standards
