Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- must have multi-tasking skills
- able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to bend, stretch, and kneel frequently
- able to work around hot equipment safely
- standing throughout the shift
- adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards
- punctual and reliable
- follow all company policies and procedures
- maintain uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
- knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- ability to follow recipes and quality standards
- good hygiene and grooming practices
- capable of standing for extended periods
- basic math skills for measuring ingredients
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Bake batches according to the needs shown on daily par/bake order sheets
- consistently produce a high quality bakery product
- be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
- keep workstation clean at all times
- properly clean all dishes and pans throughout shift
- assist managers in determining current and needed bread levels and bake sequence
- strictly adhere to all safety and health code requirements including osha and servsafe guidelines
- complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
