Job Requirements

  • Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, and quality program
  • Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Food safety, food labeling, and nutrition related knowledge including FDA regulations
  • Confectionery or food major recommended
  • Food handler's certificate preferred
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Multiple priority management abilities
  • High emotional intelligence with ability to work with and manage diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Responsible for frying donuts, placing toppings, and decorating pastries and bread
  • Carrying out operations and productions in the kitchen
  • Baking recipes and preparing all desserts
  • Performing general oven duties including checking dough conditioner
  • Preparing all needed materials and ingredients
  • Scaling and shaping all breads, loaves, and pastries
  • Maintaining sanitization procedures and cleanliness of work station and kitchen
  • Applying knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production
  • Prioritizing and finishing all assigned daily baking tasks
  • Ensuring workplace safety and hygiene for employees and guests
  • Receiving, stocking, and storing food in designated containers and storage areas
  • Informing supervisors of equipment issues and managing food supply levels
  • Completing various production, usage, and waste reports
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
