Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in baking and food preparation
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work early mornings or variable shifts if required
- good physical stamina for prolonged standing and manual tasks
- reliable attendance record
- compliance with health and hygienic practices

Job Duties
- Prepares and serves bakery products and desserts as per standardized recipes
- prepares special therapeutic diet menus as prescribed by the Dietitian or Medical Department
- determines amount and type of food and supplies including pre-prep required for daily menus and sees that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production
- prepares bakery production served, following standardized recipes and special diet orders
- plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved
- maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with the department dress code
- maintains assigned work standards in a safe and sanitary condition
- attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
- performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- reports to work as scheduled
- performs any other related duties as required or assigned
