Job Requirements
- Must obey all state and federal health and safety guidelines
- Wear proper headwear such as hat or hairnet
- Wash hands frequently with hot water for not less than 20 seconds
- Ability to lift boxes and products ranging from 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- Capability to push or pull items weighing up to 200 lbs on a dolly or cart
- Ability to bend, stoop, and work below waist level including shelves and racks
- Capacity to maintain cleanliness by constant sweeping and debris removal
Job Qualifications
- Experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good organizational skills
Job Duties
- Inspect machinery at beginning of day for potential repairs and report need for repairs to Bakery Manager
- Prepare breads, pastries, etc.
- Clean machinery at end of day
- Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart
- Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs items on cart/dolly
- Bend/stoop pick up and or place product below waist level including shelves and racks
- Place product onto bins and position for sale
- Grasp/grip product to prepare for sales floor by either cutting or cleaning product
- Constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean
- Comply with all state and federal health and safety guidelines
- Wear proper headwear such as hat or hairnet
- Wash hands frequently with hot water for no less than 20 seconds
