- Working knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Ability to work effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to follow recipes and read production sheets
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to understand verbal directives and written instructions
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds

- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time

Job Duties
- Provides guests with baked goods by following recipes according to established standards and as projected on menus or catering requests
- preparing food product according to production sheets
- measuring, mixing, baking, and decorating baked goods
- portioning and delivering baked goods
- ensuring all baked goods are replenished as needed
- storing product according to established procedures
- Maintains efficient operation of the Bakery area by following food production sheets and recipes
- regulating food product utilization
- checking food products for temperature and freshness
- rotating food items as needed
- communicating standards to the bakery personnel
- assisting other bakers as needed
- communicating relevant information between shifts
- Maintains safe and sanitary area by checking food products for appropriate temperature and freshness
- replenishing and rotating food items as necessary
- following correct food cooling and storage procedures
- cleaning and organizing work according to established procedures
- Assists in caterings on both on and off-site events by creating dessert trays as needed
- assisting in the set-up, execution and break down of events
