Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Availability to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
  • Adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items
  • Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage
  • Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, taking special orders, and addressing concerns
  • Monitor stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production levels
  • Maintain food safety logs and meet quality standards by designated times
  • Collaborate with Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment
  • Regular and timely attendance in compliance with work schedule
  • Perform other duties as assigned
