Job Requirements
- Baking experience at a French dining restaurant preferred
- ability to handle baking equipment safely
- availability for full-time schedule with varying days and hours
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- compliance with company safety policies including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques
- willingness to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior baking experience in a French dining restaurant preferred
- knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- ability to follow detailed recipes and production instructions
- strong organizational skills
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
- experience with production planning and inventory management a plus
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards
- complete production records including waste tracking and supply notifications
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
- handle food items safely adhering to all regulations during preparation and service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner and communicate concerns to supervisors
- keep up with peak production calmly and efficiently
- ensure food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures meet standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety including OSHA standards
- complete shift work timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
