Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and for 8 hours per shift
- Able to transfer bakery trays and items weighing up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain and achieve Food Handler's permit

- Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain Food Handler's permit and adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding outdated items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and clean work areas including tables, floors, walls, cases, coolers, and freezers
