- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.

- Experience in bakery or food service preferred

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service or assistance
- Commit to the "Golden Rule" and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Achieve the highest associate morale by working in a style that is Respectful, Supportive and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO)
- Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise and verify delivery
- Check products for quality, count, and condition
- Rotate bakery ingredients or merchandise according to policy and use oldest products first
- Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control
- Handle damaged and spoiled products per company policy
- Take stock to storage or shelf areas
- Prepare all baking mixtures according to established procedures and recipes
- Pan up frozen products and pan and roll up bread
- Load and unload oven
- Know proper temperatures and durations for baking
- Operate mixer and write on cakes/prepare product to meet customer specifications
- Adhere to health and safety regulations including sanitation procedures
- Maintain neat personal appearance and company dress code
- Clean and organize display cases, cooler, freezer, walls, fans, drains, equipment, utensils, and work tables
- Exercise proper safety practices when lifting or moving products or using equipment
