Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • able to work a shift from 4am to 9am
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to lift moderate weight as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous baking or food preparation experience is an asset
  • ability to follow recipes and operational procedures accurately
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work early morning hours
  • attention to detail in food quality and safety
  • knowledge of sanitation and health regulations
  • capable of working independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Start production for the start of opening
  • follow the Always Fresh procedure to ensure products are fresh and accurate
  • adhere to product shelf life standards
  • maintain a showcase that is appealing and meets quantity and variety standards
  • deliver outstanding customer service using S.E.T. principles
  • work quickly to fill orders and meet customer needs
  • execute service recovery to address customer complaints
  • follow all preparation and equipment operation standards
  • monitor fridge and freezer inventory and place orders
  • prepare products minimizing food waste and record production details
  • respond to product needs from the restaurant front
  • assist in restaurant front service when necessary
  • take and record temperature of products and equipment
  • clean and maintain the production area
  • follow all restaurant policies and sanitation guidelines
  • support a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • comply with health and safety legislation
  • use personal protective equipment as required
  • report injuries, illnesses, and unsafe conditions to management
  • avoid operating equipment unsafely
