Job Requirements

  • ability to safely operate kitchen tools and equipment

  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • capability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for long periods

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • use kitchen tools and equipment safely and properly for preparation and baking
  • follow and ensure compliance with food handling and personal hygiene safety policies
  • monitor and maintain correct temperatures of cooking appliances and food, reporting issues to management
  • clean and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the work shift
  • adhere to company policies including safety, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • complete all required safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company property
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phones using proper protocols
  • foster positive working relationships and support the team to meet common goals
  • comply with quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • stretch above head and below knees, including crouching, twisting, bending, and stooping
  • stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
