Job Duties
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
- use kitchen tools and equipment safely and properly for preparation and baking
- follow and ensure compliance with food handling and personal hygiene safety policies
- monitor and maintain correct temperatures of cooking appliances and food, reporting issues to management
- clean and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
- monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the work shift
- adhere to company policies including safety, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- complete all required safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company property
- communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phones using proper protocols
- foster positive working relationships and support the team to meet common goals
- comply with quality expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- stretch above head and below knees, including crouching, twisting, bending, and stooping
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
