Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • possess 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • dependable and reliable
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • outgoing and friendly behavior
  • positive attitude
  • good communication skills
  • ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
  • able to answer phones and take special orders
  • perform general housekeeping and sanitize work area
  • operate bakery tools and equipment
  • stand for up to 3 hours continuously and 8 hours per shift
  • able to transfer trays up to 5 lbs vertically for up to 10 hours
  • able to transfer items up to 40 lbs vertically and horizontally for up to 10 hours
  • adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
  • maintain Food Handlers permit

  • adhere to safety, health and food handling regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake, and package all baked goods
  • assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising
  • provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are well presented
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitization of bakery area and equipment
  • stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy of bakery products
  • receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality
  • operate bakery equipment and tools safely and efficiently
