Job Requirements
- must have one year of experience in a bake shop or baking setting
- must hold a valid food handler's permit
- must be able to follow instructions and food preparation sheets
- strong baking, pastry and decorating skills required
- must have training in sanitation laws and procedures
- preferably has two years experience in high-volume or specialty kitchen
- must be able to take initiative and demonstrate problem solving
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- must be able to work productively without supervision
- must pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- must be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- must be able to obtain and maintain a class ii gaming license
- must be willing to work within time constraints and follow directions
- physical ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- must be able to stand or walk for long periods
- must tolerate smoke-filled environments
- must be able to reach with hands and arms

Job Duties
- prepare and cook items for baking
- maintain a sanitary workstation
- bake food in quantities according to persons to be served and established recipes
- inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain HACCP standards and sanitation
- assist the sous chef in developing food lists and ensure sufficient items are ordered weekly
- eliminate or add items to list at direction of the sous chef
- perform other duties as assigned
