Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- Must have multitasking skills to coordinate several tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stretch as required
- Ability to work around hot equipment safely
- Ability to stand for entire scheduled shifts
- Adherence to strict safety and sanitation standards
- Punctuality and adherence to uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bakery or food preparation experience a plus
- Knowledge of baking techniques and recipe standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Bake batches according to the needs shown on daily PAR/BAKE ORDER sheets
- Consistently produce a high quality bakery product
- Be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
- Keep workstation clean at all times
- Properly clean all dishes and pans throughout shift
- Assist managers in determining current and needed bread levels and bake sequence
- Strictly adhere to all safety and health code requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
- Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
