Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must have multitasking skills to coordinate several tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stretch as required
  • Ability to work around hot equipment safely
  • Ability to stand for entire scheduled shifts
  • Adherence to strict safety and sanitation standards
  • Punctuality and adherence to uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bakery or food preparation experience a plus
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and recipe standards
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Bake batches according to the needs shown on daily PAR/BAKE ORDER sheets
  • Consistently produce a high quality bakery product
  • Be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
  • Keep workstation clean at all times
  • Properly clean all dishes and pans throughout shift
  • Assist managers in determining current and needed bread levels and bake sequence
  • Strictly adhere to all safety and health code requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
  • Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
