Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- Must have multi-tasking skills to coordinate several baking tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stretch regularly
- Ability to work safely around hot equipment and handle hot pans
- Must adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards
- Must report to work punctually for scheduled shifts
- Must meet uniform and grooming standards
- Must smile and maintain a positive attitude
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous baking experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to follow detailed recipe standards accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive physical tasks
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Bake batches according to the needs shown on daily PAR/BAKE order sheets
- Consistently produce a high quality bakery product
- Be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items
- Keep workstation clean at all times
- Properly clean all dishes and pans throughout shift
- Assist managers in determining current and needed bread levels and bake sequence
- Strictly adhere to all safety and health code requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
- Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner
