Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- have ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have outgoing and friendly behavior
- possess good communication skills
- able to take direction and participate in team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- able to operate bakery equipment
- able to stand up to 3 hours continuously per shift
- able to transfer trays and items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- maintain Food Handlers permit

- good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- physically able to stand for extended periods and transfer items weighing up to 40 lbs
- adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of bakery products and discarding outdated items
- receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
- answer phones and take special orders
- perform general housekeeping and sanitize work area
