Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over six months of similar or related experience
- Able to perform physical activities including stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to do arithmetic with fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Able to copy data, interview for basic information, guide and direct people
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing items out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
- Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service including taking product orders
- Check orders and set up timelines and production schedules
- Prepare, bake and fry all department products as needed
- Review product freshness and pull by stale date
- Invoice and put away products as instructed
- Anticipate product needs for current and future days
- Inspect incoming products for quality and quantity
- Understand bakery equipment use and maintenance issues
- Check signage and labels for accuracy
- Review department for safety issues
- Operate as lead with bakery clerks
- Prioritize orders per customer and manager requests
- Proof necessary items
- Pull product from freezer or cooler
- Practice proper sanitation procedures and maintain clean work area
- Maintain adherence to personal hygiene and dress codes
- Adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- Report to work scheduled and on time
