Job Requirements

  • Education level high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • less than 1-year related work experience
  • ability to safely handle kitchen tools and equipment
  • compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds and working on slippery surfaces
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • professionalism in appearance and conduct

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
  • prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing
  • use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely
  • follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • monitor and report correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
  • wash and disinfect kitchen areas and workstations
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
  • follow company safety and security policies
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • communicate professionally and support team goals
  • perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and moving on uneven surfaces
  • perform other job duties as assigned
