Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year plus of previous baker experience
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • compliance with food safety and OSHA standards
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to baking
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability for both full-time and part-time schedules

Job Qualifications

  • ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and equipment
  • assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • handle food items safely according to regulations
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
  • check that all food is presented and served per standards
  • follow principles of sanitation and safety
  • complete shift work timely and thoroughly
  • perform other duties as assigned
