Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent
Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule
Have outgoing and friendly behavior
Possess good communication skills
Be able to answer phones and take orders
Perform general housekeeping
Operate bakery equipment and tools
Be able to stand for extended periods
Adhere to safety, health, and food handling regulations

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Demonstrate dependability and reliability with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
Possess good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
Be able to answer phones and take special orders
Understand safety and health regulations and hold a Food Handlers permit
Be able to operate bakery tools such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

Job Duties

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, products, and floors
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding spoiled items
Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality
Operate bakery equipment and use knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
Participate in general housekeeping duties including sanitizing work areas
