Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent
- Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule
- Have outgoing and friendly behavior
- Possess good communication skills
- Be able to answer phones and take orders
- Perform general housekeeping
- Operate bakery equipment and tools
- Be able to stand for extended periods
- Adhere to safety, health, and food handling regulations
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate dependability and reliability with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- Possess good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Understand safety and health regulations and hold a Food Handlers permit
- Be able to operate bakery tools such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, products, and floors
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding spoiled items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Operate bakery equipment and use knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
- Participate in general housekeeping duties including sanitizing work areas
