Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in baking or food preparation helpful

  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients

Job Duties

  • Measure and mix ingredients to produce bakery products including bread and pastries using precise café standards
  • Ensure correct quantities of baked goods are produced daily and collaborate with management on production schedules
  • Manage baking environment by maintaining quality presentation, monitoring oven temperature and baking times, and evaluating product against standards
  • Visually merchandise and display all products
  • Receive and store inventory, proof and prepare for baking, and bake to ensure product consistency
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked, maintaining proper sanitation
  • Demonstrate hospitality, respect and a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
