Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Ability to operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously and complete an 8-hour shift
- Be able to transfer trays up to 5 lbs vertically and items up to 40 lbs with no mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handler's permit

- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate dependable and reliable behavior with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Knowledge of operating bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to stand for extended periods and physically transfer bakery items as required
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations and maintain a Food Handler's permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation and discarding outdated or spoiled bakery products
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping in the bakery department
