Job Requirements
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
- must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment
- required to be able to reach with hands and arms
- pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
- food handler's permit
- ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in a bake shop or baking setting
- food handler's permit
- strong baking, pastry, and decorating skills
- training in sanitation laws and procedures
- two years of experience in a high-volume setting or specialty kitchen experience
- ability to take initiative and problem solving
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to work productively
- ability to work without direct supervision
- ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to obtain a Class II gaming license
- excellent guest service skills
- current knowledge of occupational safety issues

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook items for baking
- maintain a sanitary workstation
- bake food in quantities according to persons to be served and according to established recipes
- inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain HACCP standards and sanitation
- assist the sous chef in developing food lists and ensure sufficient items are ordered weekly
- eliminate or add items to list at direction of the sous chef
- perform other duties as assigned
