Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum of one year baking experience
ability to work full time hours 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with variable days
must be able to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
good communication skills
capable of working in a fast-paced environment
legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum of one year of baking experience
knowledge of bakery production and food safety standards
ability to follow detailed recipes and production specifications
strong interpersonal and customer service skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
familiarity with OSHA safety standards
ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the workplace
basic math skills for production record tracking

Job Duties

Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards
assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and product shortages
maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
handle food items according to safety regulations
clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
ensure food is presented, served and displayed per standards
follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
complete shift work as assigned in a timely manner
perform other duties as assigned
